Terms of use

The rules of the road for students, and for organisations who advertise.

Last updated 26 July 2026.

Students never pay. Zoozaah is free to use, free to install and free to subscribe to. If anything on Zoozaah ever asks you for money to apply for an opportunity, do not pay it — report it to report@zoozaah.co.za and we will take the listing down.

1. Who we are

Zoozaah is operated by TT Horizon Projects (Pty) Ltd ("Zoozaah", "we"). These terms cover the Zoozaah app, the Zoozaah website and The Skills Brief newsletter.

2. What Zoozaah is — and is not

Zoozaah is an information service. We gather bursaries, learnerships, internships, workplace placements and career-guidance resources into one place and point you at the official source so you can apply there.

3. Accuracy, and what to do when something is wrong

We check closing dates against published sources and link every listing to the funder's own site. Even so, deadlines move and programmes get withdrawn. If you find a listing that is closed, wrong, or suspicious, tell us at report@zoozaah.co.za and we will correct or remove it. We would much rather be told.

4. Scams — please read this

Opportunity scams are common in South Africa. Legitimate bursaries, learnerships and internships do not ask you for a registration fee, an "administration payment", airtime, or your banking PIN or OTP. Never pay to apply. Never send money to secure a placement. If in doubt, ask us first.

5. Using Zoozaah properly

You agree not to:

6. The Founding Ambassador programme

7. Advertisers

8. Intellectual property

The Zoozaah name, logo, design and compiled listings are ours. Funders' names and logos belong to them and appear for identification purposes only; their appearance does not imply that they endorse Zoozaah.

9. Availability

We aim to keep Zoozaah available continuously, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. The app works offline once installed, showing the last opportunities it downloaded.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, Zoozaah is not liable for loss arising from a missed deadline, a rejected application, an inaccurate third-party listing, or reliance on information that has since changed at source. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or POPIA.

11. Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy notice (POPIA), which forms part of these terms.

12. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We may update them; the date at the top shows when we last did, and continuing to use Zoozaah means you accept the updated version.
